This was such a wonderful tool to teach my little boy not only words but proved to be a great discussion soundboard. I really enjoyed listening to his ideas about sounds, color and shapes. He walks around the house now sounding out words, sounds and explores the objects around him. I thought the illustrations were very creatiive and being an avid art lover greatly enjoyed viewing the pop art pictures. They were so clever and well executed that I thought they were of museum quality. I hope Ms. Isadora does more books like this. Nancy and Collin Flynn

This is an adorable book which provides a "hands on" approach to reading. The text rhymes, the pages are sturdy and the illustrations are colorful and engaging. Each page has flip-open flaps hiding pictures and text which add to the story. My 1 year old son has enjoyed this book from the age of 5 months and it continues to be his favorite "toy."

Randy Woodley is a man with a vision-a vision of how God loves diversity. I just got done reading this book and I highly reccomend this to EVERYONE. Randy is not afraid to say some things that need to be said and understood in our nation today. He gives advice on reconcilation and restitution between the races that is simply some of the best advice I have heard. He points out how God has placed each one of us in our own cultures for a reason and that we should embrace what God has given us(While weeding out the aspects of our culture that is not pleasing to God) and not be ashamed of it. I greatly appreciated how this book points to the fact that missionaries(and the church in general) often make the mistake of pushing western culture on those they try to share the gospel with. This book made me cry and encouraged me to seek to better understand my own Creek Indian Heritage (I am also of mixed blood).READ THIS BOOK!!!!

God's People Appreciate Marriage--This is the subtitle of this excellent book. It is a well-researched, thorough book containing numerous scriptures that pertain to the Christian marriage. Not only does the author cite the passages, she also explains them using word definitions and real-life examples. She goes to great lengths to help the reader to understand both the husband's and wife's role in the marriage relationship as intended by its designer-God. This is no light-weight book. There are exercises and home-work assignments at the end of each chapter that require biblical research and much thought. If you want to do your part to improve your marriage, I highly recommend this book!

I am so sorry this book is out of stock! Please, publishers, consider publishing his works again. This book is excellant for those studying links between current societal problems and their roots in history. I feel Dawson is without peer in his recognition of the pivotal role Christianity has played in the formation of Western Civilization. This book, in particular, is well integrated in the sociological, cultural, religious and economic realms. It is somewhat less anthropologically oriented. I most highly recommend this book.

This is a very important book for everyone participating in the world of fine art today. Not only is "Mirror, Mirror On the Easel" informative to both the student and purchaser of art, but also, it's wry humor of the art scene is a direct commentary about the bizzare world that it is. 'Sure to be a valuable addition to any art critic's self, this book seems all too appropriate too, to be part of the cirriculum in college art classes. Professors and reviewers, please check this one out. Caesar Cirigliano(AWS)is one of the last, great undiscovered painters of the last two centuries. Well alive and in his nineties, he still teaches, lectures, paints, and writes today. I know that this work, although likely to be quite obscure to dummies is a fresh and authentic, yet terribly human, analysis of the artist as a fallen man. With an emphasis on the modern spoken language, the 18 lessons contained in Modern Russian 1 present a total vocabulary of approx. 2700 items. The course is founded on the principle that fluency in a foreign language is acquired less by intellectual analysis than by intensive practice. The student using this book does not memorize rules and paradgims constantly but imitates and repeats basic language patterns through drills.

There are many books on the market which cover the world of saxophone and jazz. Now, finally a book that covers a lot of history of one of the giants of Rock & Roll Saxophone. A very well written book with many photos that all musicians can appreciate. A must for the sax player who wants to go back in time and take a trip to the roadhouses where the parties lasted all night and the band had everyone dancing in the streets!

This book tells just about everything there is to know on beach hunting, surf hunting, ocean hunting, etc. It gives tips and information on how it should be done and were to look. I have been treasure hunting ever since I read this book. I reccomend this book to anybody who wants to get into treasure hunting or lust wants to learn more on the subject.
